The Binding is Gone
You were the binding that kept us together Now flying above and light as a feather As a beautiful angel of God up in heaven Singing in the choir twenty four seven But now our strongest binding is gone Leaving us behind sad and alone Time will heal our hearts we have been told While you are walking the streets of gold But the loss of your mother Hurts like no other You sweet mama is what held us together And now you are gone and will be missed forever
