Joann Draper Williams, age 74, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Wilson Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation in Wilson, North Carolina. She was born on April 12, 1948 to Charles and Elizabeth Bass Draper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Williams.

She is survived by her son, Steve Williams (Kashy Patterson) of Elm City; sister, Brenda Langston of Elm City; and grandchildren, Andrew Williams of Elm City, Chase Williams of Goldsboro, and Hunter Williams of Crisp.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
