Nashville -

Joel Hardy, age 41, left his earthly home on Monday, February 5, 2024. Joel was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend who never knew a stranger and always had a smile on his face.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chris Hardy, and leaves behind to cherish his memory, his devoted mother, Kathy Hardy of the home; his brother and best friend, Bradley Hardy and wife, Ashley; nephew and niece whom he loved as his own, Kenneth and Elana Hardy; and a special bonus brother and sister-in-law, Ethan and Mary Jones and their children, Isaiah, Elizabeth and John Jones, all of Wilson. He will also be deeply missed by his faithful fur babies, Lizzie D and Bandit, countless friends and church family, and other extended relatives.

A service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 1:00pm at First Baptist Church of Wilson, 311 Nash Street W, Wilson, NC 27893. Interment will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00pm and other times at the home of Bradley and Ashley Hardy.
