Joseph Frank Lynn, Sr., age 69, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021. He was born on April 4, 1952 in Edgecombe County to Walter and Nellie Worrell Lynn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Frank Lynn, Jr. and his brother, Walter Lynn.

He is survived by his daughter, Chrystal Sears (Stanley) of Pinetops; grandchildren, Cole Sears (Gracelyn Keel), Savannah Sears, and Joseph Frank Lynn, III; great-grandson, Landon Cole Sears; brother, David Lynn (Tammy); sisters, Ella Curlings, Faye Barnes (Irvin), Nellie Patterson, and Diane Flood (Jimmy); his former wife, Shirley Lynn of Pinetops, along with a host of other extended relatives and friends.
