Joseph Warren Young, III

Joseph "Joe the Plumber" W. Young, III, age 56, passed away Friday, September 18, 2026 at PAM Health Specialty Hospital in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He was born on September 30, 1969 in Union County, New Jersey to Joseph, Jr. and Catherine Hoffman Young. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Young.

He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Tonee Young; children, Hope Young of Garner and Joey Young of Benson; siblings, Terry Y. Hurshman (Bob) of Pennsylvania and Richie Young of Four Oaks; granddaughter, Violet Dupree; step-mother, Rena Young of Four Oaks, along with many family friends and other extended relatives.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
