Pinetops -

Josephine "Fene" Webb, age 87, passed away peacefully Friday, March 15, 2024 at her home in Pinetops, North Carolina. Her life began in Wilson County on January 5, 1937, daughter of William Isaac and Fannie Starling Wells. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years, Ernest Lee Webb; sister, Joan Faye Hays and great-grandson, Tyler Lee Gallinato.

She leaves a lifetime of treasured memories for her children, Ernest Stephen "Steve" Webb, Robin Ann Vick (Donnie) and Donna Hope Hemby (Ken), all of Pinetops; grandchildren, Adam Webb, Jeremy Webb (Stephanie), Lauren Gallinato, Kaitlyn Mills (Timmy) and Heaven Zimmerman; great-grandchildren, Myers Webb, Lucas Robertson and Lawson Mills. She will also be dearly missed by her special friend and caregiver, Bobbie Jo Anderson of Fountain along with many family friends and other extended relatives.

A service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 12:00pm at Webbs Chapel Baptist Church,  2771 Webbs Chapel Rd., Macclesfield, NC 27852. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery, Pinetops. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 11:00am, and other times at the home, 1924 Hwy 111 S, Pinetops, NC 27864.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
