Joyce Marie Bright, aged 49, went home to her Savior on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill. She was born in Pasquotank County, North Carolina on July 10, 1971.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Gloria Bright and is survived by her sister, Marilyn Bright of Rocky Mount; her cousins, Donna Savage (John) of Williamsburg, Virginia, and Aaron Savage (Kristen); along with extended relatives, friends, and her church family.

A celebration of her life will take place on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 2 P.M. at Englewood Baptist Church. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
