Joyce Williams Daughtridge passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 10, 2023. She was born August 23, 1946 in Edgecombe County. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Curtis Williams and Nellie Gray Proctor Williams and several brothers and sisters.

She also survived by her sisters, Louise Twine, Rachael Slade, Pat Ayscue (Jimmy) and her brothers, Tim (Doris) and Corky, and many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Daughtridge Vaughan (Brian) and her two grandsons, Noah Cooper Vaughan (fiancé, Caroline Denton) and Jonathan Clay Vaughan.

Joyce retired from Abbott Laboratories after many loyal years. Her greatest joy was her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
