Judy Smith Morgan, age 78, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at ECU Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina. She was born in Troup County, Georgia on May 15, 1947. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold Smith and Margie Garrett; brother, Gary Smith and sister, Patricia Willcutt.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Dunkerton of Wilson, Laura Shine (Franklin) and Michael Weaver (Melissa), all of Alabama; sister, Jolene LaFrancois (Harvey) of Georgia; grandchildren, Shawn Dunkerton, Patrick Dunkerton, Alicia Jones, Scarlett Shine Greene, Savannah Shine, Stormy Shine and Madelyn Weaver and great-grandchildren, Theodore and Henry Jones.

Judy will also be missed by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
