Karen Sasser, age 71, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC. She was born on September 6, 1949 in Staunton, Virginia to Mitchell and Celia Ingram Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mitchell C. Miller, Jr. and Maxie Darrell Miller; sister, Lottie Ann Miller; and son, Joe William Ingram.

She will be dearly missed by her husband of 28 years, Richard W. Sasser; her children, Michael Shayne Ingram of Macclesfield, NC, Terry Ryan Sensabaugh of Goshen, VA, Jeff Sensabaugh of Craigsville, VA, Tracy Sensabaugh of Craigsville, VA, Victoria Rena Willoughby of Rocky Point, NC, and Rachael Looper (Chris) of Winston Salem, NC; siblings, Milton Miller and Nancy Atkins, both of Goshen, VA; and her grandchildren, Jacob, Jared, and Joseph Ingram, William Looper, and Richie and Rose Hermann.

A memorial service will be held at 5:30 pm, Friday, July 9, 2021 at Redeemer Church, 2020 Old Mill Rd., Rocky Mount.
