Kathryn M. Pollock, age 89, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Rocky Mount Rehabilitation Center in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She was born on March 6, 1934 in Alexandria, Pennsylvania to Paul and Mary Swan Daughtery, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Jane Houck and Sarah Shade; grandchild, Chaz Sawyer and great-grandchild, Kaylee Cagle.

She is survived by her daughters, LaVonda P. Rogerson of Rocky Mount and Tonya P. Sawyer (Robert) of Cogan Station, PA; and siblings, Betsy Marks and Rex Daughtery, all of Huntingdon, PA, and Paul Daughtery, Jr. of Port Matilda, PA.

Kathryn is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew Hutchinson (Renee), Suzette Gibson (Jason), Jamie Martin, Justin Dupree (Lisa), Rob Sawyer (Amanda), Dustin Sawyer, Kristen Sawyer and Shane Sawyer (Jaclynn); great-grandchildren, Bryan and Kelsey Hutchinson, Makayla, Emory, Noah, and Brooklyn Gibson, Tyler Cagle (Frankie), Graydon Dupree, Noelani Wagner, Calena and Tobias Sawyer, and Paige and Piper Bennett; and great-great-grandchild, Neveah Cagle.

The family will host a time of visitation Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Parkwood Baptist Church, 1731 Hunter Hill Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
