IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kenneth
Geaniton
December 26, 1962 – October 13, 2024
Tarboro –
Kenneth "Big Kenny" Geaniton, age 61, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024. He was born on December 26, 1962 in Pitt County, NC to George and Grace Eastwood Geaniton, both of whom preceded him in death.
Not only was he a dad, but also a grandfather who left a lasting legacy of love and resilience. Despite facing significant challenges due to a disability, he never let it define him. He dedicated his life to pouring his heart into every moment spent with his grandchildren. He created an environment filled with warmth and laughter. His unwavering determination was evident as he tackled home repairs and projects, always finding innovative ways to get the job done. He would often say, "There's no problem too big to fix," instilling in us a sense of hope and tenacity. His hands, though worn from hard work, were always ready to lend a helping hand. Even after his passing, his spirit remains alive in our hearts. The lessons he taught us about perseverance and love continue to guide us. His bond with his grandchildren was a beautiful testament to his character, reminding us that family and determination can overcome any obstacle. We cherish his memory, honoring him by embodying the values he instilled in us.
Kenny will be deeply missed by his children, Stacy Hyde, Ken Hyde (Jamie) and Misty King (Kelly); siblings, Carolyn Carpenter (Ravin), John Geaniton (Penny), Jerry Geaniton, Jr. and Mary Coggins (Robert); grandchildren, Victoria, Noah, Serenity, Aiden, Alana, Axton, Grayson, Christian and Eleanor; along with several nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 6:00pm at Faith Bible Church, 1343 McNair Road, Tarboro, NC 27886 with Pastor Dave Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 5:00pm.
