Larry Pollard

Larry Thomas Pollard, age 76, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at his home in Tarboro, North Carolina. He was born on June 23, 1950 in Pitt County to Elbert Lee and Winifred Barber Pollard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Pollard; son, Thomas Joseph Pollard; daughter-in-law, Angela M. Pollard; grandson, Jeremy Lee Pollard and brothers, Randy Lee Pollard and Elbert Ray Pollard.

He is survived by his son, Jerry Lee Pollard (Amanda) of Tarboro; siblings, Phyllis Moore (Larry) of Tarboro, Brenda Collins (Mike) of Roxboro and Johnny Lockamy (Vivian) of Macclesfield; grandchildren, Amari and Alyssa Pollard; along with several nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.

A service will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Sunset Church of God, 1709 Anaconda Road, Tarboro, NC 27886. Burial with military honors will follow at Edgecombe Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00PM.
