Linda Bowen Arnold

Linda Bowen Arnold, age 84, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 4, 2026. Her journey began in Nash County on August 1, 1942, daughter of Rudolph Albert and Emma Taylor Bowen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Arnold; son, Gregory Bowen and siblings, Albert Bowen, Judy Williams and Arthur Bowen.

She is survived by her daughters, Denise Arnold Heacox (Greg) of Calabash and Tara Lynn Arnold Gates (Robby) of Kill Devil Hills and grandsons, Robert Johnathan Claiborne (Twinkle) and Mason Thomas Gates.

Linda will also be missed by her sisters, Jan Shearin (Charlie) of Elm City and Debbie Brewer (Kenny) of Cape Coral, FL; sisters-in-law, Joyce Arnold, Jackie Arnold and Donna Bowen; along with several nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
