Linda Gupton, age 68 of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, entered into the presence of the Lord on November 12, 2025. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Charles "Pete" Gupton; her son, Wilfred "Dale" Joyner and wife Heather; her grandchildren, Gavin and Audrey Joyner; her sisters, Sharon Evans and husband Jr., Jennifer Shenigo, Sherrie Poe, and Star Evans; her special sister, Jean Jones; her special son, Daniel Holloman; and her beloved fur baby, Pepper. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred and June Evans, and her brother Wilfred "Peewee" Evans Jr. Linda was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandparent, known for her thoughtfulness and kindness. She was a selfless person, who always put others first and touched the lives of all who knew her. She was an avid reader, enjoyed fishing and gardening, frequenting antique stores, and playing pool. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy. As per Linda's wishes, no formal services will be held. Her family will honor her privately together with love.
