On April 21, 2020, Lindy Earl Walton, Jr., age 68, went peacefully to be with our Lord and Savior while surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 26, 1951, he was the son of Lindy Earl Walton, Sr, (deceased) and Mary Joyce Woodard, (deceased). Junior was also preceded in death by his brother, Charles Paris of SC, his favorite uncle, Marvin Walton, Sr. of Rocky Mount, NC, and his father- in- law, William (Billy) Purvis of Conetoe, NC.

Junior is survived by his sons, Jonathan Walton (Lindsey) and Jeremy Walton; wife, Jan Walton, all of Tarboro; brothers, Pete Paris (Michele), Mike Paris of PA, and Richard Paris of Tarboro; sister, Diane Gay, of Spring Hope; special friend, Vonnie Purvis of Tarboro; special cousins, Barbara Eason of Wilson and Debbie Storms of Tarboro; mother- in- law, Linda Purvis of Concord; three step-sons; and many more cousins that he loved very much.

He was a proud and loving grandfather to one grandson, Jackson Beamon Walton, and his granddaughter on the way, Madison, whom he already loved.

Junior loved to cut grass on his riding lawnmower. He also loved music and playing his guitar in church. He was a faithful servant of the Lord and loved to tell others about the love of Jesus. Junior had a Nursing Home Ministry for 25 years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Due to the Covid-19 Virus precautions, the family will have a private service.
