Lorene Raynor Smith, age 96, passed away Thursday morning, February 6, 2020 at Franklin Oaks Nursing Center in Louisburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John B. and Sallie Cox Raynor; husband, Louis Alexander Smith; son, Randy Jennings; sisters, Josephine Woolard and Edna Mae Raynor; and brother, John Raynor. She is survived by her grandson, Dan Jennings (Denise) of Rocky Mount; daughter-in-law, Joyce Jennings of Castalia; niece Emily Durant; and great-nephew, Brian Durant (Jeanie).

Visitation will be held 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, February 10, 2020 at Crossroads Baptist Church, 3224 Benvenue Rd. Graveside service will follow at 11:00 am, Tuesday at Pineview Cemetery, Rocky Mount. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Davis-Little Funerals to assist with expenses.
