Margaret Ann Bass, age 84, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, passed away Friday afternoon, January 30, 2026 at Rocky Mount Rehabilitation Center.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, AZ and Elsie Bass, and her brothers, Kenneth Bass, Sammy Bass and his wife, Emily, and Steve Bass.

She leaves a loving family that includes her son, Scott Armstrong and wife, Shannon; granddaughter, Alexa Haden and husband, Jimmy; and a sister, Jackie Varnell and husband, Billy.

She will also be remembered by sisters-in-law, Pat Bass and Peggy Bass; Scott's father, Lindy Armstrong, along with a host of family, friends, and other extended relatives.

The family will receive friends 2:00 - 4:00 pm, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Davis-Little Funerals, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount, NC. A private burial will be held at a later date.
