Mary Eva Howell Aycock, age 89, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023 at Nash UNC Health Care in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She was born on January 15, 1934 to Lonnie and Eva Edmondson Howell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Aycock and brothers, Carl "Dick" Howell, Lonnie H. Howell, Jr, Speight Howell, Earl "Eddie" Howell, Sr., Leslie "PeeWee" Howell and Robert Howell and sisters, Patsy Faye Howell, Lois Turlington and Joyce Gray Brantley.

Mary is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended relatives.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 10:00am at Maplewood Cemetery, 400 College St NE, Wilson, NC 27893. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
