Melissa Ann "MeMe" Walston, age 41, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. She was born on July 11, 1980 in Edgecombe County to Jerry and Brenda Foreman Walston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Morris.

She is survived by her children, Briana Little (Roderick Caudle) of Rocky Mount, Kristen Renee Little of Georgia, and Nathan Abrams of Wilson; siblings, Jerry Dan Walston (Lisa Proctor) and Pamela Sue Walston, both of Tarboro; grandchildren, Kamille Caudle and Grace Muhammad; special cousin, Angela Edwards of Pinetops; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A special service to Celebrate MeMe's Life will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 7:00PM at The Church of God, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 5:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be accepted to assist with funeral expenses.
