Melissa W. Fleming

Melissa Woolard Fleming, age 52, passed away early Thursday morning, June 18, 2026 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina. She was born on March 7, 1974 in Marion County, Florida to Bobby and Sharon Woolard. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Eugene Woolard.

She is survived by her husband, David M. Fleming; mother, Sharon Kay Woolard; brother, Bobby Woolard, Jr (Jenny).

Melissa was a devoted Christian and a member of Bethel Church of God where her father was the preacher for many years. She enjoyed attending church services, singing, and fellowshiping with her church family. Melissa will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

A service will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Falkland Church of God, 5907 S Main Street, Falkland, NC 27827. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00pm.
