On Friday, January 28, 2022, the precious little life for which we have lovingly waited, bloomed not here on earth in our arms, but instead in the perfect arms of the One who loves him best, Jesus. Messiah was already dearly loved by his parents, Sharon Barnes and Darrin Smith; siblings, Katrell Singletary, Jr., Shakiyah Singletary, Kamiyah Singletary, and Major Smith; as well as many extended family members and special friends.

Even though we may never understand in this life why God wanted him now, we know that our Messiah was a precious gift and undoubtedly felt our great love for him. He is now, and forever remains, a precious child of God.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
