Obituary

Austell, Georgia -

Mia Danielle Bell, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 39. Born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Mia resided in Austell, Georgia, where she built a life rooted in love, laughter, and fierce devotion to family.

Mia became a mother at a young age. From that moment on, her world revolved around her children. She faced life's challenges with courage and grace, ensuring her children had joy, security, and love.

A proud graduate of Rocky Mount Senior High School (Class of 2003), Mia earned her Early Childhood credentials while still in high school and later pursued a degree in Elementary Education. Her heart was devoted to working with children with special needs—those with autism, cerebral palsy, and other disabilities. Her patience and compassion gave comfort to countless families.

Mia had a bubbly, magnetic spirit. She remembered every birthday, every anniversary, and made every celebration feel special. She loved to dance, laugh, travel, and surround herself with the rhythm of reggae and the joy of family. She was a light that made others shine brighter.

She is survived by her loving children: Novian Isaiah Keshawn Bell, Jacorey Khalik Lafon Jones, and Niemah Janaeah Jones; her parents, Danny Ray Bell and Kimberly Moore Bell; her siblings: Khalea Shamein Moore (Brandon Clark), Danny Bell (DeOrrin Neal), Diamond Evans, and Tanae Todd; and her cherished nephew, Jonathan Coppage Jr.

Mia is also survived by her grandmother, Helen Bell; and by her beloved aunts and uncles: Terrie D. Glass, Vanessa Howell (Melvin Howell), Alonzo Bell (Tammy Bell), Alfred Bell, Wayne Archer (Deborah Younger Archer), Mitchell Archer (Sheila Archer), Nino Archer (Janice Archer), Barry Moore, and Paul Moore. She also leaves behind her godmother, Wanda Green, who played a special role in her life.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Benjamin Bell, William Moore, Lola Pratt Moore, and by her beloved cousin, Alicia Hyman.

Mia was a cousin, friend, and confidante to many—and to know her was to be loved by her.
