Lucama -

Michael "Mike" Vick, age 69, beloved father, brother and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 12, 2025 with his family by his side. He was born on January 3, 1956 and raised in Sharpsburg with his brother, Keith and sisters, Brenda and Diane.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Carolyn Vick of Sharpsburg and step-mother, Rachel Vick. He was also preceded in death by his beloved son, Michael Vick and sister, Diane Viverette of Enfield. Mike was a mechanic and loved lawn maintenance.

Mike is survived by his son, Brandon Vick and wife, Katherine "Kathy" of Lucama; sister, Brenda Coley of Sharpsburg; brother, Keith Vick of Florida; five lovely grandchildren, Roxie, Shana, Alyssa, Brayden and Ashlyn and daughter-in-law, Kim Vick of Elm City; He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and his Lucama Church of God family.

The family will host a memorial service at 11:00am on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Lucama Church of God, 307 Spring Street, Lucama, NC 27851 with Pastor Tommy Sutherland officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mike's family would like to extend their gratitude to Morning Star Assisted Living in Elm City for taking such great care of him for thirteen years.
