Nancy Haggard Hurdle, age 89, passed away peacefully Monday morning, December 11, 2023. Her journey began on October 13, 1934, born to parents, Gaveon Anderson Haggard and Mary Braswell Haggard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Hurdle and sisters, Francis Odom, Barbara Grady and Gaveon Deal.

She is survived by her nieces, Sylvia Wetherington and husband, Pete, Brenda Hurdle and husband, Bruce Murray, Linda Hurdle Poole and husband, Richard, Marcie Odom and nephew, Timmy Odom.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 2:00PM at Pineview Cemetery, Rocky Mount, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
