Nancy Lee Womble, age 71, passed away at her home in Nashville, North Carolina on February 1, 2021 after a long illness.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Olin and Pearl Womble; and sister, Mary Ann Womble Thrower. Nancy is survived by her loving sister, Jean Womble Bennett of Nashville and her brother Jack Womble (Brenda) of Chesterfield, VA; nephew, nieces, extended family and friends. A special thank you to Angie and Jessica Ayscue and Debbie Hardy whose love and support have had no boundaries. Nancy was very strong willed and determined. Whether it be through competitive games or just putting one foot forward to get through the pain. Her pain didn't stop her from reaching out and helping others.   Nancy was a longtime member of Bethany Church of Christ where hearing the word of GOD gave her the inspiration and determination to keep going. A private graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Forest Hills Cemetery in Nashville.
