Odie Linwood Griffin Sr 80, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, succumbed to COPD in his home with family by his side on Sunday November 15, 2020

Odie was born to Gordon and Alma Griffin of Nash County. He started working on his family farm as a young boy and worked until he turned 80.  The last 40 years he was the owner operator of Computer Accounting Tax Service.  He was a wonderful provider for his family and could fix anything.  He will surely be missed.

Odie is preceded in death by his wife of sixty-three years Judy Carolyn Griffin and survived by sons, Donnie Griffin (his spouse, Vicki), Odie "Butch" Griffin Jr.; daughter, Ginger (her partner, Sylvia), four grandchildren, Christian, Hanna, Sara and Nicholas; nine great-grandchildren.  The family would like extend their special appreciation to family friend, Dr. David Browder along with his staff and the Community Home Care & Hospice team.

Please join family and friends for a Graveside Tribute Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 11:00 am at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.  The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
