Patricia Jean Barbour, age 47, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Johnston UNC Health Care. She was born on April 23, 1974 in Johnston County. She was preceded in death by her father, Elex Eugene Hinnant Sr., brother, Elex Eugene Hinnant, Jr., and her best friend, Jessica Penny.

She is survived by a loving family including her children, Ashley Taylor (BJ), Emily Barbour (Logan), Joshua Barbour, and Donnie Barbour, all of Kenly; mother, Betty Renfrow Hinnant of Kenly and granddaughter, Ava Lynn Benson.

Patricia loved her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchild. When she wasn't spending time with her family, she could be found drawing. Patricia will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
