Rocky Mount -
Patricia Ann Henry, 73, passed away suddenly on Thursday May 14, 2026. She was born on August 29,1952, in New Brunswick, NJ to the late Frank and Margaret Conover. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Kevin S. Henry Sr, in February of this year. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Jacqueline Conover and brother, Frank “Boo” Conover Jr.
She was most lovingly known as “mom” and “grandmom” by her children, grandchildren, and their family and friends. She also cherished being an english bulldog mom to several “bulldren”. She enjoyed cheering on her grandsons at their many baseball games, working on the porch in her flowers, traveling to Disney with her family, and surfing her computer to read the news, play games, or scroll Facebook. She retired several years ago from Walmart in Wilson, NC where she was a Department Manager.
Mom accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior earlier this year and on April 12, 2026 she was baptized at Arlington Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending church with her family and watched online when she couldn’t be there in person.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Kevin Sean Henry, Jr and wife, Elaine Weaver Henry and daughter, Kimberly “Kim” Anne Spivey and husband, Ted Spivey; grandchildren, Sean Henry and wife, Allison, Scott Henry, and Carson Spivey; cousins, Eddie Hobor and Frank Hobor and wife Carol, and other extended family and friends.
A service to celebrate Pat's life will be held Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 2:00pm at Arlington Baptist Church, 1500 Bethlehem Road, Rocky Mount, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Flowers are welcome or charitable donations in her memory may be made to Arlington Baptist Church or Love Surrounds You organization. This organization was special to mom because it was started by her dear bulldog friends, Danny and Gayle Thompson in memory of their daughter, Kristen Tenpenny.
