Pauline Warren Ward, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro, NC. She was born on September 9, 1933 in Martin County to W. Theodore and Addie Flanagan Warren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer C. Ward; sisters, Edith Denton and Leitha Johnson; brothers, Leon and Thomas Warren; nephews, Raymond King, Sr. and Johnny Johnson; niece, Angie Love and her loyal canine companion, Junior.

She is survived by her nieces, Edith Scott and Lois Williams; nephews, Donald King, Sr., Robert Denton, Jr., David Denton, Harold Denton and wife, Teresa, Ernie Johnson and Bill Warren; along with several great nieces and nephews and extended family.

Pauline worked at Mayo's Knitting Mill until her retirement after 40 years of service. She was very active and enjoyed the outdoors. She dearly loved her pets and enjoyed working in her yard, especially tending to her rose bushes. Pauline enjoyed going out and dancing the night away; she truly enjoyed life and will be dearly missed.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 11:00AM at Sunnyside Cemetery, Scotland Neck. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
