Peggy Carr Quinn, age 86, passed away Friday evening, April 24, 2026 at the Barclay House of Tarboro. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Pineview Cemetery, Pinetops, NC. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.

Peggy was born March 18, 1940 in Edgecombe County to James H. and Annie Webb Carr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Quinn and niece, Karen Carr Bunn. She is survived by a family that loved her dearly including her four siblings, James H. "Jimmy" Carr, Jr. (Nancy) of Macclesfield, Catherine Virginia "Cathy" Carr, Carey Carr (Angela), and David Carr (JoAnn), all of Pinetops. She also leaves special nieces and nephews, Jamie Carr, Rex Johnston, Carey Brandon Carr (Selena), Lorie Baker (Brandon), John David Carr, and Beth Kite (John); along with several great nieces and nephews and other extended relatives.
