Pete Coley, age 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Linda Cale Coley of Tarboro; sons, Glenn Coley (Wendy) of Warrenton, Greg Coley (Deanna) of Lexington, and Kevin Coley (Michelle) of Manns Harbor; daughter, April Hall of New Bern; grandchildren, Brandon Coley, Jamie Coley, Dylan Coley, Dawson Coley, Beth Coley, Michael Coley, and Bladen Hall; great-grandchild and the apple of papa's eye, Nolan Coley; those he loved like family, Jennifer Burgos and Liana Bliesner; and special friend, P.L. Overstreet who, after Pete was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, made sure he got to the Tarboro Viking football games and back home safely. P.L. was a devoted friend who went beyond anything anyone expected.

Pete was a much beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
