Rhonda Holland Coffield, age 72, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 2, 2023. She was born in Edgecombe County on September 10, 1950 to parents, William Keel Holland and Mary Ruth Harrell Holland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Coffield, Jr.; sister, Donna Sue Holland and brother-in-law, Phillip Marshall Bowen, Sr.

Rhonda is survived by her son, Bryan Cale of Macclesfield; and Bryan's brother who was known as "Rhonda's second son", Dominic Batchelor of Rocky Mount; niece, Susan Edmondson (Richie) of Tarboro; nephews, James Bowen (Cheryl) and Mark Bowen, all of Rocky Mount; great nieces and nephews, and also great-great nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her sister in Christ, Wilma Cale (James "Stump") of Macclesfield and special friends, Ronnie Windley and Bobbie Jo Hodges. Rhonda will be known for the special care she gave to her animals, Sara, the canine boxer and her two cats, Samantha and Zoey.

The family will host a Celebration of Life Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 at Braswell Park, 1501 Western Blvd, Tarboro, NC 27886.
