Robert "Bob" Elwood Holder, Jr., age 73, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 11, 2023. His journey began in Edgecombe County on November 21, 1949, son of Robert Sr. and Mary Jones Holder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Tony Johnson.

He is survived by his loving family including his wife, Emma Holder; children, Kelby Holder and fiancé, Jamie Narron of Nashville and Michael Brantley Windham and wife, Gene of Pacifica, California; sister, Kathy Johnson of Nashville; grandchildren, Timothy Holder, Katelyn Watson and Leigha Watson; nieces, Jennifer Brantley (Jeffrey) and great-niece and nephew, Austin and Jeslyn Brantley.

A memorial graveside service will be Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 2:00PM, followed by Military Honors at Forest Hill Cemetery, Nashville, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home of Kelby and Jamie.
