Robert Ray Robbins, age 83, passed away at his home Saturday morning, July 2, 2022. He was born in Wilson County May 16, 1939 to John and Hettie Cooper Robbins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Melvin "Bill" Robbins and Tim David Robbins.

He leaves a loving family that includes his three children, Angie Edmondson, Robert Alan Robbins (Bonnie), and Michael Scott Robbins (Andrea); siblings, Donnie T. Robbins (Janie) and Thelma "Bootsie" Braddy (Paul), all of Tarboro; sisters-in-law, Inez Robbins of Tarboro and Esther Robbins of Texas.

Ray was especially proud of his grandchildren, Thomas Robbins (Megan), John Robbins (Effie), Logan Robbins, Hayley Robbins, and Alyssa Robbins; and great-grandchildren, Canaan, Ephraim, and Magnolia Robbins, Cora and Hayley Glover, Tim Truelove, and Tobias Robbins.

Please join family and friends for a Celebration of Ray's Life at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Tarboro Church of God, 908 W. St. James Street, Tarboro. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 6:00 pm and other times at the home of Mike and Andrea Robbins.
