Rocky Mount -
With his loving family by his side, Ronaldo Sabater Miranda, age 72, finished his race and claimed his victory with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 8, 2026. He was born in the Philippines on September 20, 1953 to Rufino and Feliciana Sabater Miranda. He was preceded in death by his father, Rufino and brother, Ramon Miranda.
Ronaldo is survived by his beloved wife, Yolanda Miranda; son, Tristan Miranda of Rocky Mount; daughters, Christine Miranda Garcia (Raúl), of Rocky Mount, Katherine Miranda Gutierrez (Jesús) of San Antonio, TX and Josephine Miranda of the Philippines; mother, Feliciana Miranda; siblings, Liza Atanacio, Mario Miranda, Leah Eusebio and Carina Escobar. Ronaldo will also be missed by his grandchildren, Devin, Chance, Olivia, Natalie, Emma, Ella, Amelia, Lucas, Gabriel and Sebastian along with several nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
Ronaldo was a devoted family man who loved cooking for his family and spending time with them around the dinner table. He was a servant at heart and always willing to lend a helping hand. He worked for Walmart for over twenty years and leaves a legacy of hard work, dedication, and family values that will be remembered by his family, friends, and Walmart coworkers. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and gardening. Above all else, Ronaldo delighted in spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
A service to remember and pay tribute to Ronaldo's life will be held at 5:00pm on Friday, March 13, 2026 at NorthSide Church, 1660 Beaver Pond Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home.
