IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rose Ann
(Harper) Holloman
November 11, 1956 – April 25, 2020
Rocky Mount -
With her beloved family by her side, Rose Ann Holloman, age 63, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, April 25th, 2020.
She is survived by her husband, Al Holloman; parents, Carrol James and Jean J. Harper of Selma; children, Heidi Mitchum (William) of Tarboro, Carrie Boykin (Billy) of Pinetops; step- daughter, Michelle Briley (Christopher); step-sons, James and Daniel Holloman, all of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Tyler Matson, Chelsea Boykin, David Boykin, Chandler Mitchum, Kaylie Mitchum, Landon Mitchum, Dylan Briley, and Dustin Briley; special nephew, Monte Baker.
Rose was a strong woman who accepted the challenges of life without fear. Though uniquely independent, she was a servant to others in need. She loved the outdoors, fishing, woodworking, and working in the yard just to name a few. She was frequently seen planting trees that surrounded her property. When she was not working in the yard, she enjoyed spending time with both family and friends. It was a joy to be in her company. She will be remembered for her unique laugh. It was a genuine laugh that brought a smile to others and it was a contagious laugh that would brighten the entire room. She will especially be remembered for her love of fishing. Now she is sitting high on a cloud, fishing for heavenly fish and using the rod and reel of perfection.
There will be a celebration service at the home, Saturday, May 2, 2020, at 1:00 PM.
