Roy Kenneth Morgan, 77, passed away on September 12, 2020 at Nash UNC Health Care.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Randolph Leslie Morgan and Mary Letha Morgan; sisters, Mary Lee Hicks, Lizzie Whitley, and Shirley Gay; brothers, J.D., Willie, Alvin, Charles, Joe H., Elijah and wife, Ruby.

He is survived by his wife Jean Morgan of Rocky Mount; son, Brian T.G. Morgan (fiancée , Hebe Tabak) of Pembroke Pines, Florida; and grandson, Bernhard "T.G." Morgan (girlfriend, Fiorella Anzola) of Fort Myers, Florida; mother-in-law, Dorothy Odom of Rocky Mount; sister-in-laws, Nell McLamb (Mickey) of Greenville, Deborah Nelms (Joe) of Rocky Mount, Fannie Jean Morgan of Rocky Mount, and Arlene Morgan of Butner, and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.  He will also be missed by his fur baby, Abigail.

Roy worked with the U.S. Postal Service for 22 years.  Prior to his postal service job, Roy served 4 years in the U.S. Navy.

He enjoyed watching football and cheering for his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.  Fishing was another favorite pastime he enjoyed whenever possible and he was also a fan of NASCAR racing.  Our loving memories of Roy will last forever.

The family will be having a private memorial service at a later date.
