Sandra Jean Alford, age 63, passed away Monday, April 27th, 2020 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Clara Alford, and a sister, Kennette Alford. She is survived by her daughters, Keri Crisp of Nashville and Amanda Crisp of Rocky Mount; granddaughter, Sunny Robinson; sisters, Alice House of Rocky Mount and Ellen Viverette of Greenville. Sandra served as a deputy for Nash County during the late 1980s and later joined the Spring Hope Police Department, becoming their first female full time officer.
