Rocky Mount –

Steven Grady Langley, age 63, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday afternoon, May 11, 2023. He was born on July 19, 1959 in Nash County to parents, Grady Odell and Kitty Richardson Langley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Elizabeth "Betsy" Winstead and nephew, Bryson Winstead.

He leaves behind a treasure trove of memories for his high school sweetheart and wife of 43 years, Paula Winstead Langley; daughter, Nicole Langley Brockwell (Van) of Rocky Mount; son, Logan Langley (Jamie) of Stella, NC; father-in-law, R.C. Winstead of Rocky Mount; brothers-in-law, Tim Winstead (Martha) of Taylors, SC and Phillip Winstead (Kristen) of Summerfield, NC; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Known lovingly as "Granddaddy", Steven was especially proud of and adored his grandchildren, Sophie, Jack, and Evan Brockwell and Emma, Lilliana, and Waylon Langley.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Chris Collie and C & C Industrial for their graciousness during Steven's illness.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2:00PM at Englewood Baptist Church, 1350 S Winstead Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27803. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
