Steven Thomas Parker, age 38, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Nash UNC Health Care. Steven was preceded in death by his mother, Jennifer L. "Jenny" Parker and grandparents, Robert S. "Bobby" Lawing, Evelyn Christine Green, and Samuel D. "Pete" Parker.

He is survived by his father, William T. "Denny" Parker; son, Dylan Lee Gage Parker and Dylan's mother, Ashley Matthews; sister, Sandra Michelle "Sandy" Parker Lynch; grandmother, Dorothy C. "Dot" Lawing of Parkton; nephew, Phillip John "PJ" Lynch; aunt, Dawn L. Johnson (Ricky) of Parkton; uncle, Robert S. "Sam" Lawing (Nancy) of Hope Mills, and special cousins, Allison Jamison, Emily Bennett, Kimberly Lusignan, and Melissa Lawing.

A celebration of Steven's life will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Arlington Baptist Church, 1500 Bethlehem Road, Rocky Mount, and the family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
