Susan N. Peace, age 67, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 9, 2024. She was born on February 16, 1957 in Edgecombe County, NC to Reginald and Carrie Rose Medford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Stephen Lee Peace, Sr.; daughters, Shannon Lorraine Peace and Angela Eve Peace; brothers, Reginald Medford, Jr. and Roy Dale Medford; and sister, Sandra Medford.

She is survived by her devoted son, Stephen L. Peace, Jr. of Tarboro; sisters, Penny Kinnin of Tarboro and Ann Andrews of Macclesfield; sister-in-law, Gladys Medford of Tarboro; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and other extended relatives.

Services will be private.
