Rocky Mount –

Tami Lyn Stone, age 53, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, April 16, 2023 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sue Avery and dad, Mike Avery.

She is survived by her children, Brittany Lester (Ronald), Ashley Stone (Derek), Jessie Stone (Dani), all of Rocky Mount and Jeffrey Stone (Serena) of Tarboro; companion, Ken Hendricks of Rocky Mount; brother, Jay Demers (Dana) of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Brianna, Madelyn, Jase, Natalie, Brooklyn, Braelynn and Carter; nieces, Amanda Demers, Emilee Moss and Jaymie Demers; nephew, Chris Demers; beloved canine companion, Lizzy; life-long best friend, Donna Griffin-Levijoki and a host of great-nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 1:00PM at Edgecombe Memorial Park Mausoleum, 2879 US-258 Tarboro, NC 27886 followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:30PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to assist with expenses.
