Tammy Leggett Richardson, age 56, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 10, 2023 at Wilson Medical Center from cancer. She was born on September 6, 1966 to Kenneth and Shirley Hardison Leggett, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer Bunn (Brandon), Angela Dunbar (Steve) and Kenneth Richardson, all of Nashville; siblings, Ruby Evans (Ray), Kim Gray (Frank) and Kenny Leggett (Chelsey); grandchildren, Matthew, Cassidy, Jake, Savannah, Hayden and Madison; nieces and nephews, Chris, Lisa, Mike, Elizabeth, Katherine, Jonah and Ronin; and famous first cousin, Lee.

Tammy was a devoted mother and grandmother and especially loved cooking and spending time with her loved ones. She also enjoyed traveling and frequented places such as Mexico, Tennessee, New York and especially the beach. Tammy will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 12:00PM at Nashville Methodist Church, 209 E Washington St, Nashville, NC. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11:00AM.
