Tara "T.T." Ruffin, age 49, passed unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. She was born on December 16, 1971 to Ronnie and Carolyn Ruffin in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Ruffin and brother, Michael Ruffin.

She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Ruffin; daughter, Santia Ruffin (Ronnie Taylor); grandchild arriving in July; sister, Tammy Davis (Dwight); aunt, Debbie Bobbitt (Bob); nephew, Allen Ruffin; niece, Meagan Barnes (Zach); grandniece, Josie Barnes; her longtime companion, Terry Moss and his children, T.J. Moss, Kayla Garris, Kaitlin Moss along with a host of grandchildren whom she loved as her own.

Tara lived a full and vibrant life with more friends than you could count. Her mother, daughter, and Aunt Debbie meant more to her than words could describe. She loved various genres of music. Tara also loved animals, especially her dog, Buddy. She loved to cook and plant vegetables in her garden. She had a heart of gold and would give anyone the shirt off her back. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials or donations can be made to her daughter, Santia Ruffin which will be used to cover funeral expenses.
