Rocky Mount –

Tommy Marshall Pridgen, age 72, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022.  Born in Edgecombe County, North Carolina on May 3, 1949, he was the son of Zollie and Dorothy Pridgen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Tony M. Pridgen.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Mildred Aaron (Jeff), Rennie Thompson (Buba), and Janet Hanaway; brother, Sherwood Pridgen; granddaughter, Amber; great-granddaughter, Allison; nieces, Dawn Rose, Tracy Brown, and Cammy Fulford; nephews, D.J and Tanner Hanaway; and his beloved cats, Knucklehead and Stumpy.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
