Tyler Ray Brown, age 25, passed away on March 11, 2022. He was born in Rocky Mount, NC on August 26, 1996.

Tyler graduated from Rocky Mount High School where he was Big East conference champion for 3 years in wrestling and played baseball for Rocky Mount High School. He then attended East Carolina University and Wesleyan college where he graduated and earned a degree in accounting with a minor in business . He was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity and was currently employed at COECO office systems in Greenville, NC as a sales representative.

Tyler had a very friendly, bright personality! His smile would always light up a room and brighten everyone's day. He never met a stranger. He was the most well-mannered young man and had a huge heart which made it easy for him to make many friends of all ages - anywhere he went in life. He loved sports, NASCAR and number 43! He loved his family and shared an extra special bond with his cousins who he loved hanging out with at the beach.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Victor and Emily Williams and Albert and Mary Frances "Tater" Brown; and uncle, Grady Brown.

He is survived by his parents, Ray and Amy Brown; sister, Emily Brown; special uncle, Chris Brown; uncle, Bert Williams; aunt, Lyn Brown; cousins, David Brown (Claire), Wes Brown (Heather) and many other special cousins. He also leaves behind many, many special friends who will greatly miss him!

Tyler's life will be celebrated with a special service at 6:00 pm, Thursday, March 17, 2022 at First United Methodist Church, 100 S. Church St., Rocky Mount, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home of Ray and Amy Brown. Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 18 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, 4454 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC.
