Walter Franklin Rose, age 66, passed away Monday morning, June 3, 2019 at Hunter Hill Assisted Living.

Family and friends will gather to remember his life with a memorial service at 7:00 pm, Thursday, June 6 at Memorial Baptist Church, 5399 Old Wilson Rd., Rocky Mount. Visitation will take place immediately following the service.

Walter was a talented musician and enjoyed playing his guitar for church, family and friends. He was known to be kind and easy going and a friend to many.

He leaves his wife, Sandra Baker Rose; son, Frank Rose; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and David Narron; special uncle and aunt, Earl and Kay Rose; niece, Jamie Narron; great nieces, Katelyn and Leigha Watson, along with a host of family friends and extended relatives.
