Wesley E Garris, 31, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. He was born in Edgecombe County, North Carolina on May 15, 1992 to parents, Wesley and Deborah Fenn Garris. He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Fenn Garris; sister, Heather Garris Werkmeister and grandfather, Bobby Garris.

He is survived by his fiancee, Taylor Honrine of Stantonsburg; father, Wesley Garris (Kim) of Lucama; brothers, Brandon Lee Garris (Kayla) of Pennsylvania, Blake McKeel (Skylar) and Clay McKeel; sister, Mahala Reid of Lucama and uncles, Mike McKeel and Sherwood McKeel (Allison). Wesley will also be missed by his maternal grandparents, Shelton and Maryann McKeel of Macclesfield; paternal grandmother, Carolyn Garris of Stantonsburg; special niece, Hailey Werkmeister; nieces, Renessmea and Gracie Garris and nephew, Little Brandon "L.B." Garris, Jr..

A Celebration of Wesley's Life will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 2:00PM at Heart of David Ministries, 202 S. Church Street, Eureka, NC 27830 with Pastor Kem Lancaster officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00PM.
