Rocky Mount -

Wilbur "Garland" Coley, age 82, passed away on August 2, 2021 at Carrolton of Nash in Rocky Mount, NC. He was born on September 16, 1938 in Nash County, NC to William and Minnie Register Coley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Coley; two brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Corrine Coley; children, Derrick Coley (Deborah) of Hudson, NC, Vann Coley (Katherine) of Hudson, NC, Randy Coley (Gail) of Nashville, NC and Amber Perez (Jose Caballero) of Rocky Mount, NC. He also leaves several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.

A graveside service will be on August 5, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Pineview Cemetery, Rocky Mount, NC. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
